How did you discover SmoothCSV?

I'm curious about how you found SmoothCSV.

According to Cloudflare Web Analytics, nearly 90% of traffic currently comes from Japan.

Visitors to smoothcsv.com (past 7 days)

As a Japanese developer who started this project 15 years ago (initially Japanese-only), I'm really happy to see users from various countries gradually increasing.

I'd love to hear:

• Where did you first hear about SmoothCSV?
• What made you try it?
• Which country are you using it from?
• Any suggestions for reaching more users in your region?

I discovered SmoothCSV by asking ChatGPT for a free open source alternative to CSVFileView from Nirsoft --> https://www.nirsoft.net/utils/csv_file_view.html and SmoothCSV was one of the suggestions.

I tried it because it looked like a well made utility that also had good documentation.

I am located within the U.S.

I would suggest posting about the utility on Reddit and also starting a Mastodon account in order to help improve visibility.

I haven't used Reddit or Mastodon before, but I'll give them a try.

P.S. SmoothCSV v2 was open source, but the current v3 isn't yet.
