RStudio crashes on function

RStudio does not like the system calls that keep on giving. It is a known issue, but urgency depends on users who really want RStudio functionality in here. It will require some figuring out, but let me know here if you have ideas on fixing this.

just saw this. The processx package might fix this. It's more robust than system() or system2() and I've had great success in the past with it. I shld have read all the issues before the PR :-)
