I am currently studying Pachman's Modern Chess Strategy book. To make things easier for myself, I am sending the games that the author used in his book (in some cases, I choose one game out of dozens). It would be great if I had a button to return to that position shown in the book. Also, every time the chapter is opened, it opens at that point in the game.

Thank you.

If you want to link to a certain point, append the ply number

Thanks, but I think that does not solve my issue. Your suggestions are useful for sharing the game only, I guess.

If you use the LiChess Tools browser extension you can add bookmarks in move comments. Then you can link to that particular move using the bookmark name as a hash in the chapter URL. I hope that's what you need.

I guess I have done this also, but I would like to have the Diagram on the front page of the chapter and an easy way to return to it. Your suggestion is useful, for example, for citing other games.

You can also create a link to a certain position, via FEN or move number, like this:
https://lichess.org/analysis/pgn/1.e4+e5+2.c4#2 - meaning the second ply of the 1. e4 e5 2. c4 move number (index only move for mainline)
or
https://lichess.org/analysis/standard/rnbqkbnr/pppp1ppp/8/4p3/4P3/8/PPPP1PPP/RNBQKBNR_w_KQkq_-_0_2 - go to this position without any move numbers
