Phantom New Releases?

I have many of the repos I use added to my newreleases.io account so I can track when updates come out.

Apparently Lissy93/dashy has been putting out 3-4 releases in the last couple weeks according to newreleases.io but when I go to the github page there's nothing since 2024.

What am I missing?

Your not missing anything 🙂 There's been several new tags pushed, but no releases yet (but will be soon!).

I've made an update, whereby:

• Whenever there's a new update to Dashy, we now push a new patch tag (to DockerHub and GitHub), so that you can pin to any immutable tag/version.
• Then, whenever there is a new minor or major tag change, there will be a release (with full docs, changelog, etc). I could make it so there's a github release on each push, but I didn't think people would appreciate the spam 😅

So the confusion is probably from the difference between a tag and a release. For more details, I explained it more in this comment.

Anyway, when #2002 is done, there'll be a release coming out :)
