GIF files lose quality and color when set as profile avatar.

Since the last update of the official Mastodon app and also in the web version, the gif files that I upload as profile avatar change quality and color. The gifs before uploading are in full color but when configured as profile avatar are almost monochrome, in sepia tones.

Here a full color gif file before I put it as profile avatar in Mastodon, and another one after uploading and downloading it later from my Mastodon account:
