Describe the bug
Hi,
I'm using the Transfer app on Android with an Ethernet connection (LAN through a USB-C to Ethernet adapter). My phone has internet access and the network is working fine for other apps, but the Transfer app keeps showing "Waiting for network" and never starts the server.
I can browse the web, so the network is definitely active. However, the app doesn't seem to recognize the Ethernet interface and only looks for WiFi.
It would be great if the app could work with any active network connection, not just WiFi.
Thanks for your work!
To Reproduce
- Connect phone to internet using USB-C to Ethernet adapter (LAN)
- Open the Transfer app
- Select directory you want to transer
- App shows "Waiting for network" and never starts
Expected behavior
The app should detect the active network connection (Ethernet/LAN) and start the server, just like it does with WiFi. I should be able to access files from my laptop using the phone's IP address.
Device
Samsung A73 5G
Android version
16
App Version
0.6.1
Additional context
