Can't open project - missing DB connection #3
Comments
Hi Thanks for trying it out. Did you download the OSM data and put it in a database named 'osm_be'? See https://github.com/mclaeysb/FerrarGIS#getting-started |
Hi and thank you for reply. I've downloaded it but maybe format of data is other than expected (no DB). But I'd like to ask about this: To set this project up yourself, download QGIS v3.20 or higher, and download the OSM data of Belgium to a Postgres database names osm_be (for example, using the osm2pgsql tool, as explained in this tutorial). Is it possible to use custom area, not Belgium? Other country of even smaller administration area? |
You can use the data you want - there is no geographical restriction. The only obligation currently is the name and type of the db. The tutorial should help you set it up. |
Thank you. I see I got to learn PostgreSQL first... |
Hi Manuel.
I'm trying to open your magnificently looking style in QGIS 3.28.3 but still getting messages about missing DB connection - see attached screenshots (first with error message, second with missing layers). How can I fix it?
