I'm in the Seattle region, so a high number of discovered contacts is absolutely expected but my new setup pretty much immediately hit this issue:

State attributes for select.meshcore_discovered_contact exceed maximum size of 16384 bytes. This can cause database performance issues; Attributes will not be stored
The Meshcore device is a Companion connected over USB to the Home Assistant host and I believe it has "Auto-add Contacts" turned off.
