Problem with favorite list

Despite on I have ++ed the module dip, It is not counted as ++ed by me.

Also this module is not on my favorite list

Is this still an issue for you? I'm wondering if there was a cache involved. Also, were you logged in at the time?

Yes, It is.

Also it works time-to-time (I mean module is added to favorite list) with no further actions (this is really seldom)

And it always work few days if I reconnect PAUSE account here

Today tried to favorite this module.

Its ++ counter increased: it was 5 and now it is 6. I am appear on ++ed by list, but module is not added to my favorites

As you can see from favorites list I favorite Future::AsyncAwait successfully yesterday

I did not do any manipulation with browser's cache

If I refresh page counter do not go back to its original state (5) as it was before at #1805

One interesting thing I have noticed. If I logged in differently, for example by login/password or via GitHub or via Google then I have different favorite lists

For example this is my profile when I logged in via login/password and via GitHub:

It seems both shows same account, but If I open Favorites then they are different:

hm... one account but two different favorites.

It seems that when someone add module to favorite metacpan count ++ed by by author:

But favorites

are counted by the Identity:

Thus when someone click ++ button the module is added to random available Identity and thus sometimes is not visible to current identity... =(

The way things currently work makes it really easy to have multiple accounts without knowing about it. We did some work last week to try and clean up the way all of this works, but it's not production-ready yet.

I would also like to give another data point for having this issue, but I'm unsure if it constitutes a new issue or not:

I have favourited PDL-Graphics-Gnuplot.

This is reflected by

1. the API (which has 400+ results per '.hits.total'):

1. The plus button on the page which is still orange while I am logged in (confirmed by https://fastapi.metacpan.org/user)

3. My account favourites list https://metacpan.org/account/favorite/list (has 244 entries)
