classroom and python-editor both ship @microbit/ui/dense-preset: spacing and sizes × 0.88, fontSizes md+ × 0.9. The values are identical in the two apps and now live in one place, stacked between the base and app presets.
The open question is whether the family keeps two scales (ml-trainer and data-microbit-org on the base scale, the two information-dense apps on the dense one) or aligns on one. It is now a one-line change per app — add or remove the preset from the stack — but visibly resizes the whole app either way.
Easy to try, ml-trainer seems the big decision and it might benefit. But too much change?
