Unable to run a365 setup. Please provide at least one sponsor

Hi, I ran the agent365 cli setup. Ran the command, a365 config init that created a json config which did not have any sponsors. However, the documentation also does not have a way to add sponsors.

I am currently stuck at the creation of sponsors.

Support required

Can someone help me with how do I get the sponsor or who is the sponsor?

1. I am using the visual studio subscription.

@sellakumaran @joratz I believe the most likely cause is because my tenant is not a part of the frontier preview program. Can you please let us know if that's the issue that we are facing. I am wondering is there a way we can be a part of the frontier preview program?

Update:

I was able to bypass that error once I updated the CLI and ran a365 setup all. I also changed my tenant to the preview001 tenant, thanks to @sellakumaran . I have created the app in east us region. Here's what I see :

Successfully acquired access token
Making request to create endpoint.
ERROR: Failed to call create endpoint. Status: InternalServerError
ERROR: Please ensure that the Agent 365 CLI is supported in the selected region ('eastus') and that your web app name ('tirthdoshiagent1208-webapp-endpoint') is globally unique.
ERROR: Failed to register blueprint messaging endpoint
ERROR: Blueprint messaging endpoint registration failed

Error code: SETUP_VALIDATION_FAILED

I was able to resolve this issue by updating the region in the config to westus.

Similar error happened to me (not sure if related), I used westeurope as region:

How are you bypassing the warning: "WARNING: Could not retrieve current user for sponsors field: Insufficient privileges to complete the operation."?

I am global administrator in the tenant.

User.Read scope has been added to list of permissions to enable the /me call for filling out sponsor info (see #78). This should resolve the "No sponsor specified" issue.
