There are two data files available for the Kudos solution:
- LocalizationData.zip - Install this to get all the english strings that can be localized into other languages. This data will be uploaded to the Employee Experience Localization table that supports localization of strings for multiple Power Platform templates, including Kudos.
- BadgeData.zip - Install this to get sample badge data for the Kudus app, including badge images. This data will be uploaded into the Badge table.
After you've donwloaded one or more of the data files listed above in the overview, follow these instructions to install that data in the environment that you've already installed the Kudos solution into:
- Install the Microsoft Power Platform Command Line Interface (CLI). Follow the instructions here: Microsoft CLI Introduction and Install Instructions
- Once installed, type the following into the command line interface and hit ENTER.
pac tool cmt - This will bring up the following window. Select "Import data" and hit "Continue".
- On the next screen, Select how you want to sign in.
- Most Deployment Types will be "Office 365".
- Select to Sign in as current user if you don't use different credentials to access Power Apps
- Select the environment that has the solutions installed
- Select the sample data zip file that you want to import and Import the data
- Select BadgeData.zip for Kudos Sample Badge data
- Select LocalizationData.zip to import the english strings for Kudos to support localization into other languages
- Exit and repeat from Step #3 if you have additional data files to install
