Office for Mac install issues

We are seeing inconsistencies with installing Office when onboarding our macOS devices.

Sometimes when trying to install it just skips all components and doesnt install office, even though the .pkg exists with 0 (success).
When running through the .pkg installer manually using the wizard it shows only 1.5mb required and all will be skipped.

This seems to happen randomly to newly formatted machines as well as new purchases being onboarded.
Has anyone else come across this?

Have you opened a support call for this? It seems like you're experiencing an issue with the Office installer pkg rather than with the script itself?
