KP7: Poor Contrast in Net Settlement Plan Makes Text Hard to Read #7

Description

@mihir-28

Description:
In the Net Settlement Plan section, the text contrast is too low — especially between the background and key values like names, amounts, and statuses. This makes the content hard to read, particularly in dark mode or on lower brightness screens.

Problems Observed:

  • Text blends into the background due to similar shades.
  • Buttons and tags (like “Settled”) do not stand out clearly.
  • Reduced readability for visually impaired users or in outdoor lighting.

Expected Behavior:

  • Text and UI elements should meet WCAG AA contrast standards.
  • Key elements (payer, amount, receiver, status) should be visually distinct and legible.

Suggested Fixes:

  • Use lighter foreground colors or darker background boxes for better contrast.
  • Apply consistent contrast-aware theming (especially in dark mode).
  • Test with accessibility contrast tools.

Impact:

  • Affects usability and accessibility.
  • Can lead to user frustration or misinterpretation of settlement info.
