OpenAI has Codex web, so I think this is a good idea. I can do this myself, but maybe slowly. A team will be better. Do you think this project can apply to https://speedrun.a16z.com/ to create a startup company? |

FYI: It serves the same frontend in a normal browser and bridges Tauri’s invoke and event/listen over WebSocket (not pixel/desktop streaming). Generated through a conversation with GPT-5. |

I will try it tomorrow or Monday. I'm in Asia. |

In my opinion: There’s demand to drive the full, feature‑rich native codex CLI from phones/tablets/remote browsers—a server–client mode. This would unlock mobile and multi‑device workflows, avoid editor lock‑in, and keep all the powerful CLI capabilities (MCP, git diff, approvals, etc.). I’ll run a quick GitHub repo search for a Codex CLI web UI project, haha. |

It would be nice if the server-client model allowed web/ssh access to a Codexia server on another PC.
Or simply access it from your smartphone or tablet using the web client version.
