- Improve the API of GC
- The GC, inspired by the design of gc-arena, is awkward to use. The continuation based design makes it difficult to call Lua functions from Rust code.
- Implement more standard library functions
- Because of the problem in GC, some parts of standard library are tricky to implement. For example:
- coercion of sting to number when trying to perform arithmetic operations on number and string (e.g.
1 + '2') string.find,string.match,table.sort, etc.

- Complete codegen
- Proper variable scopes, debug info, etc.
- Add tests
- We should run the official tests in CI. Because we haven't implemented all the functionalities yet, we have to comment out some parts of the tests.
