Project is mozilla/payments-ui and I was looking to move away from committing the static files that webpack might use to build the bundle.

Having the same issue, even though none of my NPM packages are installed from Git.

Lockdown 0.0.6, NPM 2.12.1, Node 0.12.7, Mac OS X 10.10.

0.0.8 appears to work (though I ran into #42).
