Fasterq-dump downloading temp files more than double the size of the original FASTQ files.

I ran fasterq-dump SRR10093300. The size of the file is only 28 Gb. ih has already downloaded 140 Gb of temporary files and still going.
I am getting same issue for four other downloads also.

You could try using fastq-dump or using fewer threads in fasterq-dump.
