Deleting custom field, how to deal with users' column preferences

When I delete a custom field, the "cf_fieldname" entry is left in the users' table column preferences.

Should I delete the entry from the users' preferences manually in the database (users_userconfig.data), or is it fine to just leave it there?

When testing with NetBox 3.7.3 it was not an apparent problem:

• The user did not get any error when viewing the table (the old column was just not there anymore)
• No error was logged in netbox.log
• When using Configure Table button, there was no error, there wasn't any ghost column, and using Save button deleted the column from the preferences in the database

so it looks fine to just leave it there for all users.

I guess I can mark this answered by itself, no apparent problems have been experienced since that.
