Setup

  • Arch Linux
  • scopehal-apps (45d255de8795bf5cf62054145907fcb5a022a104)
  • SDS2004X Plus connected via lan and lxi
    • Hardware revision: 05-05
    • Tested versions:
      • v1.5.2R3

Issue Description:

After connecting to the scope, the first force trigger results in scope running in normal mode (continuous single trigger + capture). Subsequent force triggers will work correctly.

Sending :TRIG:MODE SINGLE;:TRIG:MODE SINGLE;:TRIG:MODE? to an unarmed scope yields FTRIG. This seems to indicate that a force trigger occurs when setting single trigger while the scope is already in single trigger (awaiting for trigger).

A force trigger does not seem to occur when the trigger mode is in AUTO/NORMAL before setting to SINGLE.
