Steps to reproduce

  1. add any entry to the library
  2. edit it changing its cover to an animated one with .gif format
  3. save

Expected behavior

the animation should play as normal, like was on older versions

Actual behavior

it's quite random, some times it works and others don't, didn't noticed happening to any that was .webp, just the .gif ones

Crash logs

No response

Yōkai version

1.9.8-b1

Android version

Android 13

Device

Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro

Other details

phone rooted and using custom rom, not that matters.

idk if the issue is on my end or not, if it's some kind of performance issue or what, I have quite some of those animated covers, it's like a collection and it was working just fine on previous versions like 1.9.7

I noticed that the issue happens only on new additions, like, I add a new entry to the library and try to apply an animated cover on it, it doesn't work(maybe the issue isn't only on .gif, ngl didn't test the .webp ones)
