The following code

package example

import "core:fmt"

main :: proc () {
	fmt.printfln("|%#+ 8x", -9)
	fmt.printfln("|%#+08x", -9)
	fmt.printfln("|%#+ 8x",  9)
	fmt.printfln("|%#+08x",  9)
}

Spits out a bunch of nonsense:

|    -0x9
|-0000009
|    +0x9
|+0000009

Expected output:

|    -0x9
|-0x00009
|    +0x9
|+0x00009
