Root cause, for anyone finding this later: Nautilus doesn't spawn a terminal for Two things made this harder to spot than it should have been:

The Gnome Files application automatically installed with omarchy has a keyboard shortcut
Ctrl+.(point) to open current directory in Console. This shortcut is VERY useful, but it is not working (it does nothing)All reactions
