Suggestions for new functions

• function that adds all run attributes as columns to the scalars / vectors table, for easier filtering?
• filtering of an already loaded dataset (like loadDataset() does it)?
• public function that generates names for result items for the legend, from a format string ("${module} ${title}"); something that plotting functions already do internally?
