Moving to phase 2 for metrics

I recently started using the library mainly for metrics.
I had a hard time discovering Stable Metric which replaces outdated Metric, and I am trying to improve the documentation to increase transparency.

My question is, when are we targeting to move on phase 2?
Deprecating the outdated metric will make things clearer and help people understand why there are two metrics.
