Some simple checks for data quality (e.g., event order) should be conducted at the adapter stage and such errors should be recorded in the metadata of an Entity, or the next higher entity (e.g., logical errors in procedure order could be recorded at the event level but should also be recorded at the Procedure level), in a standardized way to allow for easy exclusion of such information.
