Description of issue

When I have the following in a formula it works when I am using the latest version:

generate_completions_from_executable(bin/"switcher", "completion", base_name: "switcher)

However when I extra to run an older version of the formula say 0.9.1 the binary now becomes [email protected] and the command above fails. I am looking for a way for the formula to either point properly to the correct binary or create a brew link for switcher to [email protected]

Change bin/"switcher" to bin/"[email protected]" if that's the binary name. We only support the latest versions of software, so this may not work.

The point this is “brew extract” from the latest so it’s not written with a version number. #{version} won’t work here because there is an @ when version and not when latest.
