Description of issue

The newest version of dovecot (2.4.0) requires updating one's config files (and maybe seems more than a 0.1 release to some!) in order for it to work. I know enough to be dangerous and haven't yet been able to hit on the right combination of things to make it work. Reverting to the earlier version would be easier. However It seems like there'e just this version available via homebrew. Is there a way to request older versions be re-made available?
