How to gain visibility?

It feels to me like this project has been mostly kept under wraps, the chosen tool of a few organizations that I work with, but mostly one among millions of options that people have when running an event. It's also perhaps the tool that you didn't think you needed, until you found it. Meanwhile the competition (particularly of the closed-source variety) takes huge claims on an apparently quite beefy niche market of hackathon management, but I digress.

Anyway: how could we better explain Dribdat to the outside world? And what kind of "app store" or public message boards would you like to see this project featured in? Bonus points for mentioning channels that would also potentially benefit our end-users, the teams who want to get their prototypes "out there".
