Execute a command and capture standard output

I found that e:exec built-in exists, which runs a shell command.

It would be nice to have a variation which stores the standard output to a variable.

Borrowing the Unix shell redirection, a built-in could it be expressed as

"curl -s -H accept:text/turtle http://example.com/resource" log:equalTo ?command .

( ?command ">" ) e:redirect ?stdOut .

The second argument could be any of >, >>, or 2>&1, as supported by bash and similar shells.

Once the output variable is bound it is immutable, so something like >> doesn't make sense.
