Using Resource Paths like they were not a complete statement

I have been writing log lines like

"Something"^log:trace .

Works like a charm in eye but n3.js does not like these (rdfjs/N3.js#508).

Is that actually legitimate Notation3 syntax or something that eye liberally accepts?

It is legitimate N3 syntax and Cwm also confirms

$ echo -e '@prefix log: <http://www.w3.org/2000/10/swap/log#>.\n\n"Something"^log:trace .' | cwm
#Processed by Id
        #    using base file:///tmp/
             @prefix : <http://www.w3.org/2000/10/swap/log#> .

      [      :trace "Something" ].
