I’d like to offer ongoing maintenance help for Provenant, particularly around package parsers and dependency assembly.
So far, I’ve contributed six merged PRs: #1120, #1140, #1142, #1208, #1218, and #1237. These covered vcpkg metadata, Ivy properties, Clojure deps.edn assembly, and VSIX manifest parsing. Through this work, I’ve become familiar with the project’s parser invariants, assembly wiring, fixtures, DCO requirements, and validation workflow.
I’d be happy to help consistently with:
triaging parser and assembly issues
reviewing small, focused PRs for scope, tests, and static/bounded parsing
maintaining regression fixtures and related documentation
handling narrow follow-up work requested by maintainers
I don’t want to assume authority or broaden the project’s scope without alignment. Would this kind of ongoing ownership be useful to the project? If so, would you be open to a trial maintainer role with scoped triage or write access, whichever you consider appropriate? I’d also be glad to first demonstrate any additional responsibilities you would want to see.
For transparency, I use Codex as an implementation aid, but I personally review every change, run the required validation, and remain responsible for the result.

Hi Maxim and the Provenant maintainers,

Thank you for considering it.
