What does (c) stand for?

I know this is a really silly question, but I've wondered this since I started using hono.... when we declare a route, the code is normally:

app.get("/foo", async(c) => {

The variable that gets passed to the async function is named c -- what is c short for? context? combustion? (since Hono is Japanese for flame :)
