Pre-generate thumbnails for my Photos library

When I open a folder from my Photos, I see blurry thumbnails, and slowly slowly the high-res thumbnails are being generated. Opening another folder, the same thing happens again, blurry thumbnails with slow high-res appearing a few minutes later.

Is there a way to pre-generate all the thumbnails, so this process doesn't delay my browsing?

Jellyfin generates the image thumbnails as they are needed, so there isn't currently a built-in option to pre-generate all photo thumbnails in advance. For a large Photos library, the first browse can therefore be slow while the thumbnails are generated and cached.

You can let the library scan/thumbnail generation finish in the background, after which browsing should become faster because the generated images are cached.

I have about 10,000 images spread across many directories, I can't view all of them manually to generate 10,000 thumbnails.

I did a library scan, but that does not seem to generate thumbnails :(

Can I use something like wget to crawl across all jellyfin URLs and force thumbnail generation?
