It seems like a bug was fixed in 2.3.0 that made my workflow perfect in 2.2.0... 😆
Launching Kando via AHK/mouse caused my menu to behave like Ctrl was constantly held (turbo mode) from the start - so I could hover through submenus, but still had to click the end points to execute them (perfect, no risk of accidentally executing wrong commands or launching huge apps as in hover mode).
Suggestion:
The same could be achieved by an additional checkbox that allows us to decide if we want hover mode to open apps by hovering too or if a click is required to launch commands / apps etc., like basically splitting hover mode into:
The way hover mode works right now makes it too risky for me to use, but I don't like clicking all the submenus either - nor hold the turbo modifier while anything else can be comfortably done with one hand. I think this option would make the power user warning for hover mode redundant (or it could be moved to the "hover everything" option) and from my experience offer the smoothest way of browsing menus. I was going to suggest this sooner or later, but now that [whatever happened before] doesn't work anymore, I'm considering to switch back to 2.2.0 for this, with the downside of missing cool new features.
Thank you for this incredible piece of software - it solved so many workflow issues for me! Flexible, intuitive AND good-looking... It should be a default navigation tool on any OS. 🥇
