In floss and research communities is matrix/element often in use. We can have both discord and matrix. Just need for each one person who is responsible. |

Hey folks, I know starting a Discord Server sounds bonkers as a F/LOSS project, but somehow we also have to go where our users are. We have approximately 3000+ student users right now, and while I think, we can convince some non-dev-users creating a GitHub account, I think we need to have some kind of more casual community hub. At our university a lot of students have Discord accounts – what would be alternatives? Should we try it and see if we can find some support there to run the community?
