Company philosophy towards realtime(?)

I am a big fan of supabase and recently set up some realtime channels. Took me a few hours to get the settings right between Next.js frontend and backend (1st time working through it). I happened to notice in a YT tutorial video that a competitor named convex has this turned on by default. If we look to the future, what are management's thoughts about including/excluding this feature automatically? Thanks in advance!
