Oro Runtime is a community-driven project. We want contributors and users to feel welcome, respected, and safe when collaborating in our repositories and community spaces.
This document summarizes the expectations for behavior in Oro Runtime communities and how to report problems.
- Be respectful and inclusive in all interactions.
- Assume good faith and seek to resolve disagreements constructively.
- Focus on technical issues, not individuals.
- Use welcoming and inclusive language.
- Respect different skill levels, experiences, and backgrounds.
The following behaviors are not acceptable in any Oro Runtime space (repositories, issue trackers, discussions, Matrix/Discord channels, or other community venues):
- Harassment, discrimination, or personal attacks of any kind.
- Hate speech, slurs, or demeaning comments.
- Threats or encouragement of violence or self-harm.
- Unwelcome sexual attention or advances.
- Sustained disruption of discussions, reviews, or community meetings.
- Publishing others’ private information (doxxing) without explicit permission.
This Code of Conduct applies to:
- All official Oro Runtime repositories (including this one).
- Communication channels listed in the project documentation (Matrix/Discord, GitHub Discussions, issue trackers).
- Any event or venue where Oro Runtime is represented by maintainers or contributors.
If you experience or witness unacceptable behavior:
- For non-emergency issues, email the maintainers at
maintainers@oro.computer. - For security-sensitive incidents, follow the process described in
SECURITY.mdor emailsecurity@oro.computer. - For issues that arise in GitHub, you may also use the repository reporting tools in addition to contacting the maintainers directly.
Maintainers will review reports promptly and may take any action they deem appropriate, including:
- Asking the reported person to stop the behavior.
- Removing or editing problematic comments.
- Temporarily or permanently restricting participation in project spaces.
Enforcement decisions are guided by the Oro Runtime governance model in docs/GOVERNANCE.md. When actions are taken, maintainers will document them (to the extent appropriate) in the relevant issue, discussion, or an internal log.
This Code of Conduct is inspired by the principles of the Contributor Covenant and other open source community guidelines, adapted to the Oro Runtime governance model.
