US death data may have had some little issues?

Hi,

I do not know whether this is in any way related:

• to the update of the system announced by the US CDC (still undergoing for a couple more days?)
• or to some data correction that has reduced the totals, so that daily increases calculated as increase have been affected

but the US death series has missed a couple of its typical weekly peaks.

Mentioning this because depending on the cause, people may be surprised if/when numbers get suddenly high.

I have not cross-checked with other sources, so feel free to disregard if you know what is happening and/or if it is a non-issue.
