Collection of reports:

ThinkPad S1 Yoga. i5-4200 @ 1.60 GHz to 2.30 GHz, 8 GB RAM, 64 bit operating system, windows 10 OS. I opened the page in Edge also and it just stays on the "initializing" status. My chrome version is 67.0.3396.99 My version of Edge is 42.17134.1.0

Firefox "A web page is slowing down your browser" - Intel i5-2450M @ 2.5GHz w/ 6GB Ram - With Chrome while it does not give a specific message once the POW starts but it take about 10 seconds for the page to respond to anything (eg. show context menu on right-click, adjust page layout of window resize)

Used Firefox: "A web page is slowing down your browser" gtx 1080ti, 32 gb of ram, i7 7700k, 500gb ssd (Windows install) and 2tb hdd

internal fan of my laptop spins up loud as soon as I click 'continue Ad-free'. - Thinkpad E580 (Guessed version: i5 8250U 4 x 1,6 GHz, 8GB Ram) Used: Google Chrome
