looks like directory with long file names are not generated correctly, they appears in album but are empty, thumbs are not present

Are the files correctly generated on disk? If you've hit some sort of filename length limit in your OS (Windows?) and the files aren't being saved properly they won't be shown in the UI (and there's no real "fix"). If the files are correctly generated and saved though, there shouldn't be any length limit in the frontend.

If you open up the console when you navigate to the non-working album do you see any errors?
