secure websockets

This project, like so many other projects, apparently hasn't advanced to the next logical step: implementing the WebSocket Secure protocol. I've seen off-the-cuff comments indicating that it's easy to make a Haskell Websockets server send and receive encrypted messages over tls using, for example, warp-tls, But if it's so easy, why am I having so much trouble finding an example? I hope somebody with more expertise that I have in this area will fork this and make a secure version.

Hey @dschalk, sorry to hear that you couldn't find what you searched for. Please keep in mind that this is a proof of concept not a production ready application. I added the TLS support in this pull request so you can see what needs to be changed: #2.

As you can see it actually is really simple and shouldn't require examples beside the package documentation (for your reference: http://hackage.haskell.org/package/warp-tls-3.2.2/docs/Network-Wai-Handler-WarpTLS.html). The biggest hassle is to setup a self-signed certificate and configure your system to accept it, but this has nothing to do with this proof of concept.
