Inference of an edge may fail for a variety of reasons. Be it "the Latency Counting DCG is unsolveable" or "Inteterminable port latencies" due to conflicting inference edges. Also, we may reject attempting to infer a variable because one of the inference edge inputs has a dependency (#71).
