@rohnsha0 what is the URL of that site? If local, what tool did you use to create the site?

In https://classic.demo.plone.org/en, in its footer, the link GNU GPL license returns a 404 and needs to be updated to https://www.gnu.org/licenses/old-licenses/gpl-2.0.html.

Everywhere it is broken as I rechecked the links on the demo ones (volto and classic and on local, I generally use buildout

I would use a licence URI from https://spdx.org/licenses/. They are guaranteed to never change. For example: https://spdx.org/licenses/GPL-2.0-or-later.html (or, better, https://spdx.org/licenses/GPL-2.0-or-later)

SPDX is used in Python (https://packaging.python.org/en/latest/specifications/core-metadata/#license-expression). Debian and other systems and also provide a semantic description of the lists in various format (xml, rdf, jsonld).

We need to update all the places, replacing the link:

http://creativecommons.org/licenses/GPL/2.0/

with:

https://www.gnu.org/licenses/old-licenses/gpl-2.0.html

which is the official host of the GPLv2, and includes an FAQ.
