axml is not a recognized language by VS Code. Is axml is android xml or avalonia xml?
Could you please a sample and/or log?

Yes, this is a custom LSP protocol, similar to Vue. You can install the plugin from https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=alipay.minicode to switch the language mode
