Thanks @copongcopong ! I wasn't able to get it to do 1920x1200 but 1920x1080 worked fine after a but of fiddling. In particular I found that changing OVMF Platform Configuration screwed things up pretty royally - leaving that alone and just changing the config.plist in EFI/EFI/CLOVER worked for me. |
Actually, I'm telling a lie. The relationship with OVMF Platform Configuration is weird. I only get a coherent 1920x1080 mac window if I change the resolution twice in OVMF Plaform Configuration, with the second change going back to 1280x720 there. And that only works once - the second time I try to run Sosumi, the mac window is back to 3 copies of weird scan lines So this issue isn't exactly closeable yet ... |
@zefram-cochrane I was able to change my resolution to 1600x900 successfully though; make sure you do step 1 and 2. |
I managed to get 1920x1080 following closely the intructions. |
@popey This issue appears to have been resolved. |
I'm unable to mount the EFI volumes using the foxlet instructions. I also do not see a file called config.plist on my host machine or the VM. Can someone explain this a little better? I'm using Ubuntu 20.04. |
Following the instructions worked 100% for me. Just another confirmation. |
The above worked for 1920x1080 but when setting 4k resolution it always reverts to lower resolution. |
Sosumi is beautiful work, thank you. But I'd very much like to change the screen resolution to (ideally) 1980x1200. Or any 16:10 ratio. I'm sure the knowledge is hidden somewhere but damned if I can find it ... ?
