The CLOVER bootloader defaults to the first boot entry, which is the macOS recovery environment.
Changing Default Boot Volume inside EFI/CLOVER/config.plist (on EFI o) via Clover Configurator to LastBootedVolume makes CLOVER remember the last booted volume, booting right into macOS (most of the time).
I already successfully tested this from within the VM.
