Repeater titles missing after attempting to delete items

Hi @ryancramerdesign - I don't know how to reproduce this, but I've certainly seen it more than once.

In this case just now I deleted two items from the end of a repeater field and clicked Save. After the page reloaded, this is what they looked like with the titles missing.

After reloading the page (actually loading again so that it didn't try to resubmit the form data), the titles reappeared, but the items I tried to delete were still there. I marked them for deletion again and saved and this time no issues with titles and the items were deleted as expected.

Sorry I don't know the cause - next time I'll try to remember to check the dev console for JS errors.

Just had this happen again, but this time I was just unpublishing an item, rather than trying to delete.

I've had this issue happen to me with the exact behaviour Adrian describes. I think I have solved it pushing the max_input_variables. Also a unsure of what causes it, will stay alert.

Thanks @elabx - I always set max_input_vars to 10000 on PW installs. Perhaps it's still too low in this case, but usually see an describing that when the limit is reached, but maybe not in certain cases? Who knows?

I think that message was not available until "recent" versions and this bug relating to repeater titles has been here for a while.
