Executable Markdown means that Markdown files are not just documentation. In Spry, fenced code blocks (SQL, Bash, TypeScript, etc.) are executable units that can define tasks, dependencies, and outputs. A single .md file can serve simultaneously as documentation, configuration, and an executable workflow.
