Very nice! You might want to remove the line myBox = create_shape() on drawMyBox(), and you also don't need global myBox in setup() as you are not assigning anything to it! :)

Nice work, @vsquared !

The trimesh library has a creation module that can help create shapes, including the icosahedron. However, using that is not as much fun as learning the math behind the coordinates, as you've done here.
